Bad templated emails are the worse.
You know what’s even worse?
When salespeople try to scale it.
Remember that a bad email at scale..
Is still a really bad email.
If it doesn’t work, don’t scale it.
Instead, work to refine it.
Make it better.
Find the common themes and frameworks that work.
Then scale that.
It’s the same in business.
If the core offer has issues..
Don’t focus on scaling it to grow.
And, don’t add on more products if the core isn’t good.
Focus on making the first offer super good.
Make sure the market loves it.
Then scale and expand from that.
