One of the mistakes I made early on in my career cost me a lot.
It cost me deals on the front end…
And customer issues on the backend..
I was too selfish and controlling.
I wanted to control my deals from cold call to close.
Regardless of size.
Even though other departments such as ops would want to help out..
I was always worried they’d cause me to lose the deal.
Then one-time I decided to involve them early.
I was shocked.
They actually brought a ton of value in the meetings.
They had different perspectives.
They helped sell and the prospects LIKED IT.
Our deal cycle actually shortened and we closed it pretty quick.
I realized at that point I had made a huge mistake.
By not leveraging my back-office, it actually hurt me.
And by working TOGETHER, it actually provided a better CX.
Close rates went up.
Deal sizes went up.
And the customers were much happier.
So if you’re out selling and you’re not leveraging your TEAM..
This is a great opportunity to make the shift now.
Your bank account will thank you later.
