43% of sales pros say it’s harder to sell virtually than in person.
(And most did not get the proper training for it.)
The truth is, it’s a totally different game:
When you sell in person, you have more room for error.
Here’s what I mean:
If you’re not great on the phones..
Not great in written communication..
Not great in creating content..
You can make up for it in person with a great personality.
Some people are better “in person” than virtually.
From the lobby conversation..
To the lunch meetings..
To the conference room presentation.
In a virtual world you lose all those aspects.
All the little opportunities to generate trust and rapport..
That just happen as part of regular human interaction.
That means every single contact point must be nails.
From the emails..
To the calls..
To the Zoom video calls..
If you mess any step up, your chances of getting ghost go up.
So if you wanna exceed your 2021 number..
It’s time to get surgically precise in your sales process.
From the top of the funnel to the bottom.
Do you agree?
